Hey so there is this new thing out there on the internet called Myspace. It’s pretty hip and exciting.

What do you mean Myspace has been around for years?
What do you mean it’s popularity peaked about 3 years ago?
What do you mean it’s owned by the evil NewsCorp?
What do you mean it’s not butter?

Regardless.. Mixed Frequencies is on Myspace. Seemed like a good idea at the time since a lot of bands still use it, and despite all the creeper 14 year olds and the inevitable creeper 38 year olds, it’s still a good place to listen to new music.

New ‘Segment’

So I think this week there will be a new segment on Mixed Frequencies. Introducing:

“Now Hear This!”

Basically it’ll be a sort of ’song of the week’ type deal. Every week will be a song that deserves your attention. If you have any suggestions for a song you think should be featured let me know.
